Job Description
Conducts final quality inspections (FQI) of POS terminals to ensure they meet all technical and quality specifications.
Verifies that POS terminals comply with industry standards and Quality Inspection and Assurance for POS Terminal Deployment (SOI).
Ensures compliance with safety regulations and technical requirements.
Returns non-qualified POS terminals to POS Preparation and reports the final assessment via TSMS or Zoho Desk.
Identifies, documents, and reports defects, discrepancies, or performance issues.
Collaborates with the POS Preparation team to diagnose problems and ensure timely resolution.
Analyzes accuracy and completeness of data using coding guides, references, specifications, and terminal portals.
Maintains detailed inspection records, including test results and discovered issues.
Prepares and submits daily inspection reports and quality assurance documentation.
Provides feedback and recommendations to improve product quality and inspection efficiency.
Participates in continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinates with the POS Preparation team for smooth communication and workflow.
Attends meetings and discussions related to FQI and product readiness.
Ensures safety protocols and regulatory requirements are followed during inspections.
Requirements
At least Bachelor’s degree in any four-year course or equivalent experience in quality assurance or electronics.
Proficient in MS Office.
Willing to work on a shifting schedule.
Previous experience in quality inspection, preferably with POS terminals or similar electronic devices.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and tools. Proficiency in using inspection tools and software.
