Job Description
Designs, develops, and maintains web applications, ensuring responsiveness and high performance.
Develops and maintains databases, servers, APIs, and other back-end processes.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to create a seamless user experience.
Troubleshoots, debugs, and optimizes existing systems and applications.
Conducts trial runs on programs and software applications to ensure company and customer requirements are met.
Assists in the implementation of new applications in accordance with agreed lead time and specifications.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Properly files, updates, safekeeps and preserves confidentiality of all pertinent documents/records/data (i.e. documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, instructions, etc.) of the company.
Provides complete and timely documents/reports (i.e. business narrative, etc.) required by management and customers.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Exerts best effort that the Quality Objectives are met; implements and/or carryout quality improvement activities and functions as Application Developer as may be formally and officially defined by the immediate superior or by the executive management.
Requirements
BS in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent.
With at least 1 - 3 years of related working experience in mobile development or relevant industry
UI/UX Design Principles: Understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript: strong foundation in front-end development
Frontend Frameworks and Libraries: Hands-on experience with React, Angular, Vue.js, Bootstrap, or Tailwind CSS is highly valued.
MySQL: Basic understanding of database operations and integrating with front-end.
REST API: Basic understanding of backend development and familiarity with RESTful APIs or HTTP methods.
SDLC: Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to follow project workflows.
Design Tools: Familiarity with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
Experience using Git for version control and collaboration is a plus.
Knowledge of Basic command-line usage and working in a Linux environment is a plus.
Amenable to working onsite in Ortigas Center, Pasig City
Preferably can start immediately.
